All MMFA age divisions utilize a strict participation policy (which should not be confused with "fair play").  This participation policy ensures that each player is on the field at least every other offensive or defensive series.  Most players take turns sitting out every other series based on the particular roster size (how many players are on their team).  While each player may not be on the field for an equal number of plays in any given game, this policy should result in every player having the same opportunity to be on the field over the course of the entire season.
